The winning entry for the Dorset Fiction Award is: The Greater Crested Tern, by R.V. Maloney.
Deciding the winner was an extremely difficult decision to make for the judges. The level of creative flare, balanced with prowess in writing, and also that certain unknown factor in good stories, produced this entry as the winner.
A big congratulations to the author, as well as every other shortlistee. The winning story, and the following 2nd, and 3rd place stories will be published tomorrow (Mon 6th) on the website, along with the commended stories. Author interviews, and judges' comments will be posted also!
Thank you again to every entrant, and we all wish you the very best for the future.
Until next time,
-- The Dorset Fiction Award Team
